Control Acrobat Scrollbar

I understand and I use successfully

SendMessage hwnd WM_VSCROLL 7 0

to control MS-Windows windows scrollbars, such as Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Notepad etc.
I am wondering whether the above Sendmessage can be used for non-MS-Windows windows, for example Adobe Acrobat Reader.
