Understanding/Using DLL’s

I know nothing about making or using dll’s and the only programming I have is in QM. Can someone please explain the basics to me? I want to start on what I think would be a simple dll using it to hold my icons and pictures that I will use in my macro.

To learn how to create a dll, google for a dll tutorial. QM cannot create dlls, so you will have to download some program that does it. And maybe learn some programming language.
