Menu Performance with Network Resourses
#1
I hesitate to put this in here as a bug but today we are having significant performance problems with one class of our network servers. I have a menu that references various Office docs on that class of severs and when I open that menu, QM hangs and doesn't respond in any reasonable (read minutes) time frame and so I have to kill it from Task Manager.

I suspect that this is due to 'getting' the icon for that menu item. Is this correct?

What if the menu does not have icons?

Menu Menu29
Code:
Copy      Help
;/noicons

Will try to debug this.

Several questions:

What is network speed?
Are icons extracted quickly in Windows Explorer?
Is this only with certain file types?
How in toolbars?
How in toolbars with custom icon size, eg 20? Then QM uses other functions to extract icons.

the network is gigabit.
they werent really reachable at all with WE due to the network slowness.
it's due to any file type that i didn't have explicitly assigned with at local resource.
