How I set thing to a read-only mode when I am viewing codes?

This is so that I won't inadvertently change any codes when I view the codes in a file. I am afraid I might have by mistake changed codes when I did not know I have done that. Thanks.

Macros are read-only if they are in a read-only folder or file.
You can set it in Folder Properties dialog. Right click folder...
For whole file, use File Properties dialog. Menu File -> More -> File Properties.
