User folder

I have been using QM for a long time. I have one giant qml file with lots of folders. One of them is called User, which I did not create, but I now have no recollection of how it got there.

When I create a new test qml file in the latest QM I notice there is no User folder. Can I delete the User folder from my main qml file?

Older QM versions used this folder to store scan bitmaps in macros. Maybe for something else too, eg for temporary macros, don't remember.
Now QM does not create this folder.
You can delete the folder if it does not contain something useful, eg scan bitmaps that are used in your macros.
