Getting a menu to come up with an app and follow it

Hi,
I am having trouble getting a menu to act in the way the QM toolbar works in QM.

I want it to come up with the app which I am superimposing it on, follow it and close with it.

The regular ways don't seem to be working
I have tried triggering it off the process (the app.exe) and off of dynamic events.
Even if I manually invoke it, it doesn't follow and close with the app.

Any suggestions?

Menu or toolbar? Menus cannot follow window etc. For toolbar, assign window trigger, or start it from a macro using

mac "toolbarname" windowhandle
