Dialog Download Bar Question

In some programs you download they have a download bar

in the middle of the bar it has the percentage

i know how to make the percentage to the side of the bar but is it possible to put it in the middle of the bar without
there being a white square around the static text?

One thing that could possibly work is OSD and make it stick to the window at what ever xy you need it.
