Removing hotkey assignnent in options
#1
Hi,
I am trying to clear the hotkey I assigned to a macro, but when I open the properties box and click clear nothing happens. If I try to backspace it out then "backspace" becomes the hotkey. If I try to select and delete it, then "delete" becomes the hotkey. How do I remove the hotkey assignment and recreate it as a shortcut?

Also, can you direct me to where this information is in the help file? I tired to look it up and couldn't find it.

Thanks.

Select 'None' in list.

None
Keyboard
Mouse
Window
...

Thanks,
I have a question. I have chosen "none" and now the properties say no shortcut or hotkey is assigned, but the macros are still running according to the shortcuts I previously assigned. In addition, when I go into the properties section and try to set F1 as the shortcut trigger, the macro runs and I cannot enter F1 into the field. I have closed QM and the F1 still sets off the macro.

Do I need to restart my computer to remove all the previous hotkey or shortcut assignments or is there something else happening here?

Maybe you have created shortcuts in desktop or start menu. Delete them or delete their hotkeys.

Yes, it was the desktop shortcuts. I didn't realize that they always run in the background. (Also, I didn't see them on my desktop). If I put them in a folder, the F1 key does not active the macro.
Thanks.
