What does CHROMEBAR? Maybe it deactivates the address bar.

Also, if possible, use name-changed event of Chrome window, not of address bar. For this can be used window-name-changed trigger, but also can be used your code with hook.

ok, i'm trying with a.Role=9 thing..
allows to type again in url box, must try to change matching terms them...keep you informed
