Close window, avoid save dialog box

is there a function that allows me to close a window (say notepad) that will not show the "Save As" dialog box, but will save the save or not save the file (hopefully there is a flag for the options)

i could not find one in Help.  thanks

No. Each application shows a different "Save?" message box, therefore need different code.
