Screen Saver and/or Switch User in Windows XP

Not sure if someone has asked this already, but what is the effect of the following on the pixel command:

1. Screen Saver
2. Switching User in XP

pixel gets color directly from screen. It is the color you really see, eg screensaver's color.

In switch user mode pixel does not work.
