When opening services, I noticed there is a Quick Macros Service running, for curiosity what is it's purpose ?

Several, but the most important - run qm and qm-created exe processes with different UAC integrity levels, without UAC consent dialog. For example, QM normally must run as admin or uiAccess, else it could not do many automation tasks.
