Last year I tried but failed to write QM code to trap and correct for errors generated by a buggy chromatography data system (CDS) that is especially weak at recovering from errors. Since then, I've grown out of practice with QM.
I wish there were a forum where I could advertise for a QM programmer to create a QM solution on a contract basis. I would send the CDS and instructions how to reproduce the errors; the programmer would write code, validate it with the CDS operating on a Win98 machine, and get paid.
