Dialog Editor
#1
I'd love to see a good facelift on the Dialog Editor that would allow a more familiar and easier-to-grasp GUI:

multi-selection of items using ctl-click
resize multiple selected items
copy & paste items (including the possibility of copying from another dialog?)
and the ability to select fonts, colors etc per item(s) within the GUI

I think making the creation of good-looking dialogs an easier and more intuitive task would be a great boon for new and old users alike.

Thanks!

[edit] Oh yeah, forgot...please add UnDo to dialog editor!

OK, but not in QM 2.3.0.

Undo is already available.

Great about undo! And thanks for considering GUI tools to make the dialog editor a bit more friendly for a future version...

One more request for the editor - a grid overlay to help with design/alignment. Does not necessarily have to be anything more than the overlay (e.g., no need to change snapping to conform to grid etc.) -- just a tool to make it easy to see/compare control placement on the page and across multiple pages.

Thanks!

Very nice ideas bro!

They all sound like a great plan

Especially the copy and paste buttons and multi-selection
It takes for ever when you want to make a set of buttons and this would make it alot easier!

Love the idea on fonts and colors, would make dialogs look way awesome Big Grin

Cant wait to see these changes in future QMs!
