Text handling question

I have been working on automating the repetitive process for running quote in my job and I am having trouble finding the right resource for handling text from an email. I have emails that come in email format with info like name, dob, state, and quote amounts. I want to write a program that can pull out that information and store each of those to a variable that I can then use in the macro to run the quotes that come in. I have been looking at FindRX but I am not using it correctly. If someone could point me to the right resource(s) for learning how to do this I would greatly appreciate it.

Regular expressions used in various languages usually are very similar. QM uses PCRE regular expressions. On the internet you can find many regular expression examples and tools to create/test them. Google: regular expression create test tools
