Get rid of numeric values

Hey, im wondering if i have a str and get a spot on a window....is it possible to get all the numbers out of it

example:

str s
s.getwintext(id(5 hDlg))

then if s has any numbers in it for example...

s = "Found 5 Numbers"

change that to...

Found Numbers
