Sorting QM Generated Tray Icons

I have a rather peculiar problem, I would appreciate any hint to solving it. I use "PS Tray Factory" layered product (http://www.pssoftlab.com/) to sort my tray icons. It works perfectly with non-QM generated tray icons. I am wondering why it does not work with QM generated icons, using Tray.AddIcon. What is the difference between tray icons and QM-generated ones?
