The code is correctly converted. Just one mistake, in two places: if (MMSYSERR_NOERROR == rc)
But says 'Couln't get the control'.
rc is MIXERR_INVALCONTROL, The control reference is invalid.
Maybe my soundcard does not have a peakmeter.
