Dialog Menu - Match Background App

I would like to be able to make the background of the menu match the parent application better - either by specifying the color or making transparent like the menu.

I don't understand this. To change dialog color, process WM_CTLCOLORDLG message. To change menu color, use ownerdraw menu, which is quite difficult.
