Non-Transparent background in exe for SysAnimate32

Why is there a difference in control displays when running them through QM and as an exe ?

Eg - Animation object is transparent in QM and non-trans in exe (see images)

SetWinStyle han ACS_CENTER|ACS_TRANSPARENT 1

Also, the treeview and listview controls do not inherit windows style when run through exe. However, from QM all controls display perfectly.
