Can a Trigger be encrypted?

Hi, I've got some Accessible Object Triggers, & most of my code is in the trigger. What I would like to know is, can a Trigger be encrypted? just like code. I totally understand if it can't, because looking at the Trigger is pretty much the only way of telling if the Encrypted code is safe, (somewhat)
