Keyboard Events in Dialog

I have a simple dialog running, but I would like to stop beeping when
I press some button in my keyboard, I am handling keyboard events with a keyboard hook, it works well but I would like to stop this sound is it possible?.

Probably need to somehow don't allow the dialog to receive keyboard messages. Hooks can do it. But why to type something when there is no focused edit control?
