Run perl script and get output

I want to have QM run a perl script which prints a number, and then capture that number to use in my macro.

This is what I am trying, but it fails, with the generic error "failed".

RunConsole("perl d:\Users\Amy\measure.pl" fs);
out fs;

Am I close? I'm not sure how to use RunConsole, and am having a hard time finding an examples. I'm not sure if that's even what I'm supposed to be using, but that's what searching here and google led me to.

Try RunConsole2, it is better.
