SHDocVw.WebBrowser, where are cookies/settings saved
#1
I was looking for some youtube desktop clients but there doesn't seem to be many options.
After upgrading to windows 10 I decided to retry the SHDocVw.WebBrowser (in win 7 didn't work properly for me).

I noticed "SHDocVw.WebBrowser" with a youtube page actually works quite well in win 10, I also tested with "WebBrowserControlDisableIE7Emulation" and this also worked very well!

QUESTION: So now I am wondering where the cookies/settings are saved when using "SHDocVw.WebBrowser"?
I do not have Internet Explorer installed, I do have Edge. If I login to a youtube account within SHDocVw.WebBrowser and then start Edge I notice these are treated as 2 seperate instances (meaning: Edge does not use the login info from the qm "SHDocVw.WebBrowser")

All this is for cleanup purposes (delete login info,...etc... after usage.)

Don't know, but when I want to know where some program saves files I create a temporary function with "file" trigger.

Function Function3
Trigger $f 0x449 "C:\"     Help - how to add the trigger to the macro
Code:
Copy      Help
;\
function event $name [$newname]
;event: 1 added, 2 removed, 4 renamed, 8 modified
out F"{event} {name}"

Thank you, that's a good tip!
