Can I use run to force a specific file to open to the non default program?

For example, if th file is test.txt, by default, it will open on notepad using run. What if I want to open it on WordPad instead?

Similar to right clicking a file and selecting Open With.

Why not just change the file association so you don't have to run a macro everytime?

Can this be modified through QM Ginataras?

Yes, through QM too. File associations are stored in registry hive HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
