Del key input ('X) closes down program

Hi,
I just want to delete the highlighted item but for someone reason, if there is no highlighted item, 'X causes the program to shut down (as if I hit Close or Ctl-Alt-Del).
Any ideas?

are you using ctl-alt to trigger the macro?
sounds like it's picking it up during the actual trigger.

That's exactly right. Let me go change the trigger!!!!

From my experience, only Ctrl+Alt in trigger can interfere with Delete in macro when Eat is checked. To avoid it, check When Released. I don't know other unsafe key combinations.
