The idea for this was to create a toolbar and service that monitors the window it's attached to for certain conditions to be met. When they are it should visually show the event occuring by way of changing the text or icon on the toolbar buttons. hock:
Its part of a larger script but for now when you run the Launcher Macro it attaches to the Quick Macros editor window, and monitors for the window's active status, if its active it puts a little tick icon, if you select another window you can see it realise this in the background and switch out to a cross icon. The second button is updated with the Window's current width and height, and the third button is a dropdown menu that can start or stop the monitor.
One problem im having right now is that the method of changing the text is by editing the toolbar macro, which resets the icons, so looks like im going to have to figure another way of changing button text.
